Didsbury Road Wildlife Area: Spring Maintenance Day

Join the SLH volunteers to dig and level the soil, plant wildflower seeds and prune back overhanging branches.
It was early March 2020 when we started work on this area. We pruned and cut back the shrubs and trees, planted some shade loving plants and made the most enormous Hedgehog Hotel.
Everyone is welcome to join us, particularly those who live close to the site. Wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you have them. We can provide some tools, but bring a spade or fork or trowel if you can. We will provide hot drinks.
Find the spot just to the side of Didsbury Road / Lodge Court junction, opposite Brompton Road and Thornhill Road junction with Didsbury Road, Heaton Mersey, SK4 3HZ. If you need more information, please contact us on info@slheatons.org
