How to Make a Plant Label

We like to name our sunflowers so that when we plant them out in the garden we know who is who! We are currently growing Sunny and Cher. We use plastic milk bottles for our plant labels. Make sure you put the labels in the brown bin when you have finished with them.

You will need:

Empty milk bottle

Scissors

Pen

1Cut the milk bottle in half.
2Cut a rectangle out of the bottle.
3Cut the large rectangle into smaller rectangles.
4Cut one end into a point.
5Name your plant.
6Put the label into the compost at the edge of the pot.
